Christ Academy functions under the able guidance of CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) fathers, who have, from time immemorial, contributed to the cause of social upliftment through their service in the fields of education and healthcare. They are credited with the founding of reputed establishments like Christ University, Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Rajagiri Hospital and Amala Hospital in Kerala, in addition to engaging in various other humanitarian activities. Christ Academy Institute for Advanced Studies (CAIAS) is dedicated to Jesus Christ, the Supreme Guru, a guiding light that enlightens every individual who is a part of our academic community. Our source of inspiration is the founder of CMI, St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, a great educationist who brought about revolutionary changes in the society through his decisive mission and farsighted vision. CAIAS strives to kindle the light of knowledge and wisdom in the hearts of all, thereby enlightening the various strata of society irrespective of gender, caste, region and religion.
